Tamed by over thirty years of use as a contemplative retreat, Shambhala Mountain Center is a place where one of the basic truths of Buddhism—that people can be profoundly open to the wisdom of the present moment—is always readily available.

There are two modern lodges located in the "downtown" area of Shambhala Mountain Center. Additional rooms are located at Red Feather housing, located on Shambhala Mountain Center's western border, about a ten-minute walk from the "downtown" area of our campus. These cozy motel - like buildings consist of private or shared bedrooms, all equipped with two twin-size beds, two nightstands and shelving for storing personal items. The Red Feather campus has a shared bathhouse with toilets, hot showers, electrical outlets, an iron and an ironing board. Bedding and towels are provided.
